Brief Introduction
Professionally, I am a civil engineer. But personally I am a public policy enthusiast who wants to follow his career in public policy or Economics. I am a graduate from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi from the class of 2014.
Presently I am preparing for Civil Services and Masters in Economics Entrance Examination.
I started ThinkingonIndia in June 2015. My aim was to use ThinkingonIndia as a platform where future public policy makers and enthusiast would benefits from collaboration with other like minded people.
I am a recovering stammerer. I am a member of The Indian Stammering Association(TISA). I am also a member of Central Delhi Toastmaster Club.
I have worked in Bangalore with Shapoorji Pallonji Company Ltd. as Management Engineer Trainee from July 14 to Feb 15. I have done two social internships (at TERI and SARAS) in Bihar. I have worked as Project Coordinator of ICare4Delhi.com, was aimed at solving the waterlogging issues and other civil infrastructure issues in Delhi, for one year under the guidance of Prof. A. K. Gosain and Assitant Prof Dhanya C.T.
My favourite hobby is to do cycling around India Gate and near by areas such as Rashtrapati Bhavan, North and South Blocks and Parliament. This endeviour fills me with a sense of awe and admiration about our Nation, India.
Currently, I have travelled to Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Mumbai, Bangalore and Punjab. My wish is to travel across India and meets people from every part of India. By doing this, I want to understand India and do, as Jawaharlal Nehru puts it, “Discovery of India”.
